WCHA

It's been 10 busy years, but I'm back. I just want opinions on whether or not these moves would make sense for the WCHA, who will be down to 3 teams after next season.   With the Alaska schools, or school, and Alabama Huntsville being the holdovers from the league. Does it make sense for the league to approach Arizona ST, Colorado College (NCHC), and Air Force( Atlantic Hockey), and with the potential to add UNLV soon to fill those vacancies.

I do realize this still means crazy travel for UAH, but they have a crazy travel schedule already. I think it would create natural rivalries in CC, and ASU, UNLV???? and ASU, while keeping CC, and Air Force competing. It could also push schools like UC Boulder who has flirted with the D1 Hockey idea to give it serious consideration, with a conference already in place.

I understand that it takes lots of money, and commitment to start, and maintain a College Hockey program. That's why I just wanted some opinions on the matter.

                                                                                                    Just My Thought.

Wild Spud!!!!!!!

I've never been so excited to watch the Minnesota Wild as I am now. That's all because of Matt Cullen. I love watching this guy play, because you see this great athlete, but having met him,I know he is an even greater person. He adds so much versatility to his line, his speed, skating ability, and awareness make him one of the best free agency pickups in the Wild's brief existence.

Prosects!!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to have an all access pass in 05 when the World Juniors came to Grand Forks North Dakota.I saw the likes of Dion Phaneuf,Evgeni Malkin,Sidney Crosby,Alex Ovechkin, and many more.In 09The World U18 came to Fargo, and I had all access again. This time seeing Robin Lehner,Carl Klingberg,Cam Fowler, and Drew Shore. Most of these guys were hockey household names long before my 4 eyes noticed them, but now I have the pleasure of watching a kid who is of that pedigree but still in a developmental stage. His name is James (Jimmy)Mullin of the Fargo Force.Mullin is amazing to watch as he works around the net.He gets off shots that you never expect to see any pats of the goal. He's always in the right place at the right time, and at 5"10 175 Mullin is not afraid to mix it up in the crease or along the boards. The Force have always had 4 really good lines, but this year they are a little short,so we can expect Mullin to get the experience needed, but I cant see him being here longer than this season,so get out and check him out now because the next time you might have to pay a little more.

Crazy Canuck!!!!!!

Dear Rick Rypien:

Do you not understand that The NHL is a business? Your #1 customer is the FAN. That guy who paid with his hard earned money to sit in those seats, did nothing, but cheer for his team. And because of that you decided it was a good idea to attack him after you got beat down on the ice. That guy plus the other 18,063 other people who bought tickets, paid for parking, got concessions, and maybe even a souviner help  to pay the KINGS RANSOM you earn to play a childrens game. Six games is hopefully enough for you to realize that you owe the fans better than that.

Phoenix Coyotes!!!!!!!!!

I understand that the NHL wants hockey to grow in the US,But some places are not a good fit. Phoenix!!!! I know that Phoenix is a major metropolitan area, but you have so much to compete against. The NFL,NBA,MLB, and Major NCAA Athletics. Im wondering if Gary Bettman thought Arizona was a good fit, because of it's large amount of Snowbirds, who fly in to escape the cold winters up north.Lets Be Real!!!!! What person 65+ wants to deal with traffic,High Ticket Prices,Finding there seat,Dealing with there bladder,(Can you imagine you G-Ma standing in those long lines to use the restroom)" I Love Hockey" and I want to see it grow in the States,But to move this Frachise from hockey crazy Winnipeg,is still strange to me. The NHL had an opportunity to relocate this team, but instead they recommitted to Phoenix. I understand wanting to grow intrest, but lets try someplace that's INTERESTED.......
